December 14, 2010 - "In the Sky, There Is A Cloud Containing the Sea"

The process of compiling this Third Show was thrown for a bit of a curve by the host's recent acquisition of Brian Eno's 1974 tour de force, Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy. Hence, a bit of a spotlight on the Eno. This was the album for which Eno developed Obilque Strategies - a set of cards each with a piece of advice to help catalyze any creative process.

Otherwise, this show was a mixed bag with a new occasional feature, "Bad Songs that Rock". This week the song was not bad and it may not have rocked, but it does occupy a coveted space as the most artistically satisfying band in the much -maligned Yacht Rock "genre".

Also congrats to a real new mom out there and her bundle which arrived hours before last week's "Songs for New Moms" feature. This week: parenting advice from David Crosby, ;).
